love xbmc - magic -
having a slight problem though -
i use a dreambox to stream sat feed over a 100bt connection to the xbox, and upscale to 720p
it seems to go fine for 10minutes or so - until the the cache buffer seems to get low -
i've increased the buffers which just made the time to the onset of pixelation longer - as youd expect.
process goes - cache is loaded - everything plays fine -
buffer gradually decreases to below 10% - then pixlates -
never actually drops a frames , but will stop while it buffers up mode data -
it appears that the playback frame rate is ever so lightly higher than the rate supplied from the dreambox -
is there an adjustment - can the allowable limits on the framerate be adjusted ?

experiments - ngrab and the bitcontrol codecs work fine
so i thought i'd give port 31337 (ps) rather than 31339 (ts)
simole change in the dream-tv script -
seems to have worked - haven't had a lot of time to try it
but played ok for 1hr last night on a previously troublesome
channel.
may be of use to someone else

rayman
