UA: SAN - ?? MR for EQM needed!

  • Hello all,

    Will be operating out of SAN during much of the UA EQM 2x qualifying period. Looking for max miles for min $$$ and min time. Last year, SAN-IAD was a good investment with NO overnight and non-stop/NO plane changes outbound /return on same day! Don’t mind a plane change though on return to SAN flights.

    Looking for MRs 10/24-11/1 and again 11/4-11/18. Have flexibility to spend 2 or 3 days for MRs during those time periods leaving from SAN.

    SAN fares run high and few have class of service for Entertainment discount. Am I overlooking a destination on this continent? Need about 70,000 EQM to retain 1K. Hope to make 45,000 of those domestically. It has been a limited travel year.

    It looks like I will have an international sometime between 11/28 -12/14 for the additional 25,000EQM I would need.

    Suggestions from all you savvy FTs ??? FT supplied the great SAN-IAD-SAN tip for last year!
