Sound output on some avi files

I have xbox v1.1, running xbmc t3ch from 9/16.

Some of my files (tv episodes) have no sound output when I have it on Digital output, output to all speakers. If I go into the audio settings for the episode and change it to analog output the audio works fine.

2 Questions (yes I searched for this already)...

1) Is this an issue, I've never had any issue with files like this before, even episodes recorded with only 2 audio channels...they still are able to output digital to all speakers...

2) Is there any way to save audio settings like digital/analog per file, because when I change this now, it changes the output for all of my movies and other tv episodes as well, which I don't want.

The wierd thing is that it's the whole season of this tv show I have, as far as i know they were recorded the same way the rest of my stuff was and shouldn't have anything wierd going on in the files, but just wondering if anyone else has ever seen this.
