Seat Assignment - Movin' on back?

  • I booked a semi-mileage run, semi-visit my sister for Feb on AA.com, with the flight selection working out to be on TW metal. I looked today (actually showing a coworker the seatmap function) and noticed my seat on the 757 PDX-STL was 25C (last row before midcabin lavs). I didn't remember booking that one, and sure enough, I get home and pull out my email confirmation and see that I booked and was confirmed in 11C, but somehow, the web now magically says I'm way in the back.

Anyone else had this experience? What did you ultimately get on the boarding pass?

Also, does anyone know if 25C on a TW 757 reclines? The map would make it appear as though it backs up to the lav.

    Any advice?

  • I believe that seat does recline.

Are you sure it's the exact same type of aircraft as when you booked it? Sometimes the equipment will change slightly and they'll rebook you (but always to a worse seat, somehow).
