Hard Rock Cafe DUBAI

  • Will be in Dubai for 10 days. We want to do fun things.

    Has anyone been to the Hard Rock Cafe in Dubai? How far is it from the Fairmont Hotel? Is it loud and fun like the USA Hard Rock's?

    Any other suggestions for fun places to eat. We have been to Dubai before but tended to do the shopping thing which is nice, but not exciting.

  • Well I don't do Hard Rock's, but I can tell you it would be a heck of a hike through the desert to get to the Hard Rock from the Fairmont on foot. It is always best to rent a car in Dubai IMHO. It's maybe 10 minutes by car going 60Mph I'd guess.

    Many of the hotels have great restaurants. The I-C, Sheraton Creek, Hyatt, Burj, etc. There are many different ethnic styles from Indian, to Persian, to Russian, etc. I would just ask the Fairmont Concierge.

    If you do rent a car, go for a 4-Runner or some such SUV. Then you can drive out to the desert and run the dry river creeks and dunes. There is great golfing in Dubai if you like that.
