Just curious if anyone has received any Healthy Choice airline mileage certificates
yet?MileageAddict:
Your not last, I am! Still waiting on 12k AA. Mailed a few days before double coupon expired http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gifI haven't received the pitiful 1000 miles in vouchers I mailed for on 5/24. I'm not panicing til the end of the month (they did say 6-8 weeks).Got my 2K of UA certificates yesterday, the 29th. And it was postmarked the 28th!!!
And I am delighted to see that the expiration on the certificates is Dec. of 2000. I had forgotten about that part of the deal. Nice!
SamanthaHallo Ladies,
Queen Marvella here....
reading all your posts, I can't believe what rotten taste buds some of you have...calling that Healthy choice food, "Yummy", and not understanding why your spouse would pick Jolly Time over HC popcorn( I don't want to even imagine what that tastes like.)
That Healthy choice is Nasty stuff!
Kitty Meow and I went for the 500(x2) offer for 1000 miles. 10UPC's, we tried the String cheese, Girl, I've chewed on better tasting latex then that stuff! And those Frozen entrees, they'd be fantablous if they only remembered to add some flavor. Kitty Meow loved the Fettuccini, that was after she sprinkled on half a can of Kraft parmesan cheese. (Too bad Kraft doesn't offer frequent flyer miles).
Kiss Kiss
Queen MarvellaHas EVERYBODY gotten their certificates already? I am still waiting for mine (impatiently). I mailed them out right before the deadline. This week is the eight week since the mailing. Should I expect something soon? Is anybody else out there in my shoes? I have gotten absolutely NOTHING from HC as of yesterday's mail. This is VERY frustrating!
[This message has been edited by demeter (edited 07-24-1999).]I just got 7000 miles for United and sent it in just before the deadline of the double miles - so it took one month. I sent 4 certs to United. I want to see how long it takes for it to be added to the account. I have miles expiring this year and don't know yet how many of these I need to get a ticket.
------------------
DtGPer post above, Delta took almost exactly a month...not bad given they projected 4-6 weeks. Of course, I will never understand why it takes 4 weeks.I'm relieved to see that someone else is
having trouble getting their American miles.
pdhorak- Now let's see how good Healthy Choice's customer service is. Glad to see you made copies, wish I did.
DebbieMarvella sounds a little finicky to me. I'm more like a dog: I'll eat just about anything that's decent. Ruf, ruf, ruf.
Still have about 23 hearty handfuls and about 30 frozen dinners. With respect to the cheese, however, I must concur heartily.Just received my first certificates for 4,000 miles for American. The problem is that this was the last group of UPC's and receipts I mailed. I sent in two groups worth 5,000 miles each before I mailed this 4,000 miles group. I called HC and they said they will look into it. I should have done as Catman suggested and made copies of all this.
Anybody else having this trouble?Received my second Healthy Choice(HC) mileage
certificate today.I sent it into HC about 10
days after the first one - which I received
June 13. So, looks like they are still working on the backlog. Just have to hang in there.
I did notice that this one came by bulk mail
rather than 1st Class mail like the first one.I'm gonna try the ice cream, but I'm buying a big jar of that chocolate fudge, some bananas, strawberries, nuts etc- just to kinda hedge my bets!I don't know of any chazas but this is beginning to worry me. I've seen no specific list of inclusives or exclusives anywhere!Anyone know the time frame for posting of those mile certificate once they're mailed to the airline? I mailed them to Delta early last week.

Mahalo brudda!
www.hotshirts.com (http://www.hotshirts.com)Is your name...or frequent flyer number on the certificate?Where do the double coupons come from? I haven't seen any aound me. Thanks!highflyer: http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Very good point.
Considering the number of calories and the fact that they are frozen meals I think most of the HC products are pretty good. They'll not win any Cordon Bleu awards, but I haven't had any that I thought were actually bad.I just received the last of my certificates.
Must say, things were looking a little shakey. One envelop came by 1st class mail and the other two by bulk rate( there were
only a couple certs in each envelop)
I too think HC may have run into more difficulty with this offer than expected,
although they seemed at first to be fairly
well organized.
I sure would like to know why it takes so long to process these things.I'm sorry I should have been more specific. I know that the promotion runs until Dec 31 1999, but what is the expiration date for the airline certificates that they mail, after you send them the receipts and proof of purchases. In other words what is the latest that the airline mile vouchers have to be turned in to the airline (say Delta or United)?
For example, the MSNBC vouchers are good until sometime in 2000, so I am planning to mail my MSNBC United voucher next year and not this year, since I don't need the miles right away and United miles have a 3-4 year lifespan. You wonder what takes so long?
Imagine sitting in a cubicle surrounded by mail pouches crammed full of envelopes that you need to open, count out the barcodes - probably by using a scanner in order to validate their autheticity then looking through countless grocery receipts for the corresponding purchases. Ugh! What a horrible task! Sticky ice cream barcodes, stinky rotting ham odors, etc. Of course, a huge number of them will have enclosed the wrong number of barcodes or forgot to send receipts so they need to get processed as rejects. The ones that are done right need to be filed and mileage vouchers sent.

Check out: The Airline Mileage Workshop (http://www.mileageworkshop.com)Mailed on 5/17 -Got all 8,000 miles worth of Delta Cert. 6/29 - 0ne envelope - Mailed on 5/17- This is so great!Got mine today. I mailed on 5/27 and received all of my American certificates.Mailed on 5/25, received 4000 miles worth of certificates today. Gee, I think I was the last one to get them. Oh well, I'm not complaining. I welcome all free miles that arrive in my mailbox!

Addicted to airline miles? Check out: The Airline Mileage Workshop (http://www.mileageworkshop.com)The Delta Certificate has a note that it must be redeemed by Dec-2000.Marvella, that's just what I was thinking. Are these folks who bought all those Healthy Choice frozen "meals" the same ones that complain about airline food? http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gifI'm getting worried too. It sounds to me like maybe Healthy Choice bit off more than it could chew with this promotion. I did not photocopy my materials because I had no idea they might try to cheat me. I've always received mail-in rebates and such as advertised. Is there anyone from Healthy Choice monitoring this topic that could shed some light on the situation?Burkey - Fingers crossed HC will deal with your problem in a timely manner.
Please post when the correct certificates make an appearance in your mailbox.I finally received my 24 500-mile certificates today. They arrived in 24 separate envelopes mailed bulk rate. I ordered all 24 for AA but received 22 aa and 2 Delta. This is not a problem for me.
I had called HC a week or 10 days ago, which was 8 weeks after I sent for them using the double coupon. They said they would investigate and that I would have some resolution of the issue with in 3-4 weeks. I don't know if the call helped or if they were just overwhelmed and getting behind schedule.I sent in 80 UPC w/register tapes on 5/17 - this was with a DOUBLE coupon - should get 8,000 miles on Delta - Nothing yet --Should I call Con Agra?I also received my United certificates yesterday, and was absolutely delighted to read them. Yes, they don't expire until 12/30/2000, but more importantly, on the back they say, "A maximum of 20,000 miles may be deposited to an individual Mileage Plus account through the Reward Miles program during a calendar year."
What this means to me is that the limit on United for Healthy Choice certificates is not 20,000 miles as I was thinking, but rather 40,000 miles. All one would have to do, it seems, is to deposit 20K miles this calendar year, and save the balance 20K miles until after 01/01/2000 (and the Y2K bug's demise) and send them in then!
I'm sure going to be developing a taste for Healthy Choice soups! You sure ... I've got some really good dead president certificates I'd be willing to give you for those ...My 5000 miles worth of United certificates came yesterday. I also sent my request in just before the deadline for double miles. So, about a month.I still have not received my 12,000 miles worth of AA certificates. I sent in everything just before the double coupon expired http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gifIn today's mail a weighty envelop with fifty 500 certificates for Delta. I sent mine in on May 28, so they were right on time.
(Let's just say I may have enough soup to make it to Y3K!)
ToddReceived 1st 500 Mile Delta Certificate from
Healthy Choice today! So, looks like they
are pretty much "on schedule". Also
mailed Certificate to Delta. The Certificate
said it would be posted to account in 6-8 weeks.
Really nice supplement to account, even though I have slowed down on pulling one of
the meals from the freezer after work. As good as they are, need a little rest.Tolax ~ You might find some folks here who want DL certificates but would be willing to order NW certs then trade you.
I also have some other stuff I might be willing to trade you for the DL certs, e-mail me mailto:beckley@sprintmail.combeckley@sprintmail.co m and we can discuss it.I eat HC meals all the time (even before this promotion started), you just have to find ones you like ... and their French Bread pizza is pretty good too! I take the dinners to work and have them at work for lunch. They're not all that bad after all ...Okay, just wanted to make sure you understand I wasn't just talking about some lame discount certificates or something http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gifNote they call it "Healthy" Choice, not "Tasty" Choice- I like honesty in name and advertising. I wish, however, that it was both.tolax -- I got the same story about sending back the wrong certs, which I'm mailing out tomorrow, with the proper documentation, just in case. Here's the address if anyone else needs it. (You should call first though):
CONAGRA FROZEN FOODS
PO BOX 3768
ATTN: TAMMI
OMAHA NE 68103-0768
I was told "Tammi" was the person who was taking care of these types of things.I'm still waiting for my 4000 Delta miles... But I can't complain really, they said it would take 6-8 weeks...I sent in for 11,000 miles certs on AA and only received 1,000 (2/500 certs), I called Healthy Choice and they said they are being sent in numerous envelopes. My friend received all of hers at once in one envelope for 4,000 miles on United. I wonder if this is only on AA they are having a problem with. I made copies so I told her I would fax them if necessary.I'm still awaiting my 7,000 miles' worth; I even had the post office hand stamp the envelope (on 5/29) to show I beat the deadline...Thanks,pdhorak. I'll give the e-mail a try. Can't hurt, might help. http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gifDidn't get mine yet, but as someone else already mentioned (sorry, can't remember who) if you call HC's 800 number, and ask a question, give them your address, you'll get a coupon for a free frozen food product. Now that we're at 500 miles/10 upc's, that's 50 miles free. http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gifI thought I will be the last one they received my upcs but instead of sending me 11,000 mile AA vouchers they sent me 500 AA voucher. I had to contact HC and luckily I made copies of all upcs and receipts because HC told me that their fulfillment house stated I only sent them enough for 500 AA voucher. I faxed them 31 pages I have to wait 6 to 8 weeks again. Very slowComing out of lurk mode to share my Healthy Choice experience...
Mailed 250 UPC's on May 26th (the double miles promo). Received a fat envelope on July
3rd - unfortunately, they mailed 50 Delta certificates instead of my requested 41 NW and 9 Delta. (I only needed 4500 more miles on Delta for a free flight - am "elite" on NW, so figured I could best use the excess mies there)
Called their 800 number to inform them of the error in hopes of a speedy resolution. The customer rep took down my name & address and told me to sit tight, "someone" would be in contact with me. She said it would be by *mail only*- so she did not take my phone number.
Fast forward to today - called to let them know I was still waiting for "someone" to contact me. To my dismay, this customer rep said that the first person I'd spoken had given the wrong info. No one was going to contact me and instead I should mail the 41 Delta coupons to them (she provided the address and an "attn:" name) and then they'd mail back the NW certificates.
Have I done so? Not yet -- maybe I won't ever. I don't like being stuck with wrong coupons, but neither do I feel like risking another mailing and possibly ending up without any certificates at all. I guess that sounds a bit paranoid, but it's not like their track record (in my case anyhow) has been exceptionally good.expiration date is 12/31/99. Just recieved another one in my Northwest packet that came today. And yes, it's true, call HC 800 # (it's on all the packages) and you will receive coupons.Even worse than being last . . .
I sent in 50 UPCs for 5000 AA miles with a double miles coupon on 5/29. The entire package was returned to me with a cryptic letter saying "Your request did not include the correct UPC(s) required for this promotion. Only UPC symbols from the products listed in the offer requirements are acceptable."
I'm about to call HC consumer affairs, but I'm really stumped. I followed the requirements scrupulously. Are there some Healty Choice products that are not eligible? That's the only thing I can figure.
CharlieI didn't get my 5k on AA or the 5k on UA yet.beckley- Going to allow a couple weeks for "Tami" to respond to my letter. (desperately hoping TAMI isn't the HC code for "Toss Away Mileage Inquiries" <g> )
If I'm there's no reponse or if I'm not appeased by their response, I may be in touch. Thanks.Give it six to eight weeks.
SamanthaI was hoping to have received my Certificate
for the second UPC mailing by now. My 1st
was sent on June 11. I have been "sort of" thinking the second certificate would be here by now becaue it went about a week after the first. Will keep all advised!
It looks like some of us are doing OK on receiving the Certificates...it must be a
real chore for HC.Marvella honey, I missed you from the board!! Did you ever post a trip report from the G/L event in Australia? If your show ever comes up to Chicago, I'll be there on Halstead street to see it.Steve B.
No, had to write in name and ff number. There
was a receipt with the voucher number on it.
The voucher number was the same as on the Cetificate.I received my first few Northwest certificates and am also happy. There's no limit, so I'm going to collect as many of these as I can eat and scrounge up in the office. Better yet, Northwest miles won't expire. Yes!I think its probably random. I got all my 11,000 Aadvantage mile certs at once yesterday.I mailed my upc on May 28th and today I got 14 certificates (7000 miles). I am very http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gifI mailed in on May 28 and got them yesterday. 6 certificates (3000 miles). I had double coupon. http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
Dan.bevets
The double mileage coupons expired 5/31 http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif The standard coupon is available on the HC website http://www.healthychoice.com and many other places.http://www.shopforchange.com/registration.cfm
It sound like we are all getting sick of these meals...click on the link above and get a free dessert to go with these meals....
A FREE PINT OF BEN & JERRY'S ICE CREAM !!!!!I called the 800/323-9980 and spoke to Jackie she told me as of yesterday that they will not be sent all in one envelope to wait another 2 weeks, she did take my name and address and number so if I did have to call back. I also sent an e-mail to healthy choice and asked if someone could check, well they did and Tami Barth contacted me and asked me to mail the copies to her since she contacted the fulfillment house and they said they only received 2 (500) mile cert request. I just the 800 number again and ask if I could fax them the copies all 32 pages, I did. Good LuckBeckles - Tempting --but yes, I'm sure.I was also instructed to send my returned UPCs, receipts, double mileage coupon and the letter I got back from the (idiotic) fulfillment company to Tami (they spelled it with one "m"). Unfortunately, I don't have the option of keeping certificates for the wrong airline, since they returned my entire submission.
We'll see what happens . . .
CharlieWhat is the expiration dates on the certificates?Wish my wife would eat more of their popcorn! Caught her yesterday preparing to eat Jolly Time rather than her usual favorites Orville R. or Pop Secret- all while three perfrectly good boxes of HC sat in the cupboard right at arms length! I may have to learn to like popcorn more myself!Received the 2X certificates from HC today.
They came by 1st Class mail. Just one more outstanding...then wait for sale and load
freezer. As I posted herein, HC had the miles they sent me screwed up, and they still have not contacted me to correct it.We got all 7000 miles worth of AAdvantage certificates in today's mail.Delta posted my 1st Certificate today, July 12. I mailed it June 13th.
I also called HC today about three subsequent
mailings of 10 UPC's each I made after the one above...the reason being that I have not
received anything from HC for them so far.
The person at HC was very professional and said they would look into it..fingers crossed, but have a hunch that things may
be rocky.
It does not look like I am alone on this.
One thing I mentioned to HC, one envelop
going astray is..well within +- tolerance,
but three going astray..???? I think it will
just take more time. Finally on 7-14 a plump envelope arrived with 20K UA MP certs enclosed. Mailed in on 5-24. Was starting to worry since there were many posters that had already received theirs. Thanks again to Counsellor for the 1000 mile coupon.dhacker,
Keep your fingers crossed; my USAirways miles arrived in yesterday's post (I mailed 5/29). Funny thing--my certificates are labeled with the old USAir logo and VIP Miles FF program, not Dividend Miles. There was good news, and then there was bad news:
The good news - I received all the mileage certs today, in one envelope. http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
The bad news - They sent me all 10k on UA, instead of the 5k on AA and 5k on UA as I indicated on the form. Even worse, when I called, the agent said she would forward the info on this mishap to their procurement dept, and they'll be in touch with me in 3-4 weeks. http://talk.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
In the mean time, anyone have 5k on AA they want to exchange for the extra 5k on UA?Got mine today too.....I submitted 4000 miles worth of receipts and UPC's on 5/25 and still haven't received the mileage vouchers. Not worried but getting impatient since so many of you have received them!
